Even if a report is customized for your birth moment (and
most are - if you know your exact birth time), a computer can only take
each component of your chart and examine it as a separate entity. It cannot
(as of yet, but the day may come) put the pieces together into a synthesized
version of your totality. When you and I speak, whether in person or by
phone, we have a dialog. You can't do that with a computer report! We
ask each other questions, we have a téte-a-téte (French
for putting our heads together), we explore YOU and your life. No computer
report can give you an enlightening interaction like a real reading with
a skilled professional can. Take a look at a sample

SERVICE RATES
My service rates vary according to the type and length of consultation
and the preparation requirements. All readings are tape-recorded on standard
size audiocassettes for your reference. We can meet by phone - or in person
if you're in my neck of the woods. I can also tape a reading solo, without
the client present, and mail it. (This is a good option for a gift.) The
length is usually 1 to 1-1/2 hours, but sometimes it is shorter - see
the explanations below. I offer a comprehensive variety of services, but

Please note: I do not cast spells, "change your karma," or try to influence
someone else for you. I give you my best professional opinion on astrological
influences affecting the subject of a reading.

RECTIFICATION (in the event you don’t know your birth time)
It’s not a pretty sounding service, but for people who don’t
know their birth time, it’s a way to figure out when you most
likely were born. This tedious and lengthy process (which many astrologers
won’t even attempt) works backwards from the approximate dates
of 6-10 major occurrences in your life. At the least, we’ll end
up with a workable chart that fits your life circumstances. Because
of the time and detailed analysis involved, the fee for this service
is more expensive than most.

THE
ASTEROIDS IN YOUR CHART
There are 10,000 or so asteroids that circle the Sun between
the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, many of which have been tracked and named.
I’ve seen many examples of how named asteroids fit in people’s
charts with uncanny synchronicity. For instance, when I was born two asteroids
were at the place of my personality and identity, the rising degree in
the east: “Booth” and “Janhoet” (the asteroid
with the name closest to Janet). No kidding! Could I have been named anything
else? Or being Janet Booth, could I have been born any other time? (The
rising degree changes every 4 minutes or so.) I can look up your names’
asteroids and interpret how they relate to your chart.

Sounds like it means predicting the outcome of elections. Actually
it's selecting a time for an activity that optimizes the influences
of the planets and your chart. This is a great tool for planning! I
have many requests for good times for marriage, surgery, buying or selling
property, launching a business, and interviewing for a job.

This requires labor-intensive research, but doesn't take all that long
to explain my findings. That’s why the fee is higher for fewer
minutes than my other services.
HORARY
ASTROLOGY
Based on the influences present at the moment of the question, this
is an ancient astrological divination technique called "horary" astrology.
Some questions are not able to be answered through this method, in which
case there will be no charge.
30-45 minutes, $80 (Similar to the "ELECTIONAL" consultation above,
this technique is labor-intensive, but doesn't take long to explain
the results.)
